My clinic has been fortunate to work with Marcia after a referral from our employment lawyer. We were looking to find new ways to provide professional feedback and goal setting as a growing team. Marcia is highly knowledgeable with a wealth of experience. She works with you to create something that will work for your team while respecting your suggestions and questions. We love working with Marcia and we are creating more projects so we can continue to work with her. – Kimberlee Sullivan, PT, DPT, WCS, BCB – PMD, Owner/Physical Therapist
Marcia Silverberg has been a lifesaver for our small-medium nonprofit. At a time when we were experiencing growing pains and needing instrumental support and guidance, she entered the picture and knew exactly what was needed to enable us to thrive and to scale up in keeping with our mission. She engaged and empowered the Board and staff to function at our best. She produced timely deliverables with excellence. The quality of her work is superb, and she cultivates highly productive working relationships with great attention and care. I strongly recommend her as a professional consultant to any organization seeking to advance its governance, operations, and human resources. – Laura McFarland, PhD, Board of Directors, Step Onward Foundation
Marcia Silverberg and her company HR Directions have provided an invaluable service to ZACH Theatre. ZACH hired HR Directions to do a thorough analysis of ZACH’s staffing and human resources needs and then make recommendations for the best investments to make in this critical area in the coming years. In order to achieve those goals Marcia took the time to understand our culture and the unique business needs of a professional regional theatre. She fostered a high degree of trust in the human resources function thru a series of confidential focus groups and surveys. Based on analysis of the resulting information, she recommended that ZACH hire our first full-time HR Director and successfully oversaw that process. All of this work was not only done on time and on budget, but with clear communication at all levels of the organization.
During Marcia’s consultancy with ZACH she also delivered engaging trainings in goal setting and performance feedback and helped revise and streamline our performance review process. The end result of this work was a detailed road map for transforming the HR function at ZACH to reflect the concerns and needs of the staff at all levels of the organization. ZACH is already a stronger employer because of Marcia and HR Directions’ work and I highly recommend her services. – Elisbeth Challener, Managing Director, ZACH Theatre
